DESIGN SERVICESMany times, owners use their engineering or architecture firms to design the systems needed in their new construction or renovations. Quite often, these firms go through the process of designing critical CCTV, access control, audio and video, and networking systems using only systems and equipment they are familiar with. The tendency is to provide as much information in as little time as possible. Many times they also do not take other critical conditions into account for their designs. We have seen this happen on numerous occasions where the system chosen is generic and not tweaked to what the customer really needs or the manufacturers selected for the equipment part of the system do not have adequate local support from a standpoint of sufficient local technical knowledge of how it should operate or be maintained.
